It is officially confirmed today that a TV anime adaptation of a PSP adventure/rhythm game Bakumatsu Rock, which was released by Marvelous AQL on February 27, is already in the works for July premiere. The story of the game is set in the alternative Bakumatsu-Meiji period in Japan (around 1853-1870) and revolves around the rock battle between Shinsengumi as the top idols and the patriot samurais including Ryoma Sakamoto (CV: Kisho Taniyama), Shinsaku Takasugi (Tatsuhisa Suzuki), and Kogoro Katsura (Shotaro Morikubo). The today-launched anime fficial site is listing the main voice cast and staff for the anime. Check the list and game PVs below.
