During the Dengeki Game Festival 2014 held earlier in Tokyo on Sunday in Japan, the announcement that many Durarara!! fans have been waiting for has finally come to pass, as a new TV anime has been confirmed along with the first staff details.
Director Takahiro Omori (Baccano!, Durarara!!) will be returning for the new series as well as Noboru Takagi (Baccano!, Durarara!!) returning to scripting duties, and Makoto Yoshimori (Baccano!, Durarara!!) will be in charge of music composition. Takaharu Kishida (Baccano!, Durarara!!) will be adapting the character designs from author Suzuhito Yasuda's original illustrations while Studio Shuka will be handling the production.
Not much more has been confirmed outside of the above details yet, but additional details will be coming in due time. How many of you are excited for more craziness, especially since the best parts happen after the end of the first season.
