FUNimation Announces "Noragami" Simulcast

FUNimaiton has concluded their 12 Days of Anime countdown with news that they'll be streaming Noragami as part of their winter anime line-up. Slots for three other anime from the season were hinted at.


 


Bones is set to adapt Toka Adachi's (Alive: The Final Evolution) manga about a minor deity hoping to one day attract a shrine and followers, and a bullied girl, with storyboard artist Kotaro Tamura (Gosick's opening) directing and Toshihiro Kawamoto (Gosick, Cowboy Bebop) on character designs. Deko Akao (Arakawa under the Bridge) will be scripting the series. 









 



 


They also announced the license of the live-action Space Battleship Yamato sci-fi anime-remake.


 


synopsis:
The year is 2199. Mankind teeters on the brink of extinction as the Gamilas, a heinous race of alien invaders, wage an endless war for the right to inhabit the Earth. The last hope for humanity lies on the distant planet of Iskander, and the only battleship capable of attempting the journey is the legendary Yamato. The movie will hit shelves in 2014.
